WHAT IS AMP?

NHS implemented AMP (Advisor/Mentor Period) during the start of 4th quarter.  AMP time is 31 minutes sessions held every Wednesday morning during which time every NHS teacher has a small group of students (15 or less) that they work with and personally get to know.  The goal of this advisor/mentor period is to increase students feelings of connectedness to NHS and also to decrease the percentage of students being unsuccessful at NHS by 10%.
