Philosophy

Alexander Middle School is dedicated to providing an enjoyable and safe co-curricular experience, while recognizing the developmental characteristics and needs of the young adolescent.

Participation Guidelines

Students wishing to participate in athletics or clubs at AMS will be regulated by the Co-Curricular Code. Students participating in athletics will need to submit the following cards:

1. A physical exam card or an alternate year card needs to be on file. *

A physical exam completed after April 1, is good for the two school years.  In the year a physical exam is not required, students complete an alternate year card.

2. Parent-Participant Acknowledgment of the Co-Curricular Code.

3. Emergency Notification Card

4. The Co-Curricular Code requires that students complete an Acceptable/Unacceptable Sheet. This will be completed after the start of the season.
